Consensus & Facilitation Trainer

I offer a variety of workshops on practicing consensus process, visioning for community organizing, improving your facilitation skills, and public speaking for folks with radical and/or progressive politics. Consensus trainings focus on consensus as a revolutionary and liberating practice, examining the principles and practices that bring about successful use of consensus, and exploring its potential as an organizing tool through group discussions, storytelling and games. Facilitation trainings cover skills such as Active Listening, Non-Directive Leadership, Re-stating and Synthesizing, Agenda Planning and Conflict Resolution.


I am available to teach workshops and classes for organizations, or groups of individuals who come together specifically to schedule me. I also teach a class quarterly at the Brecht Forum in Manhattan, and work as a consultant facilitating with various grassroots organizations and non profits.

I have a generous sliding scale of $150-$1000 for organizations that wish to hire me, so that I can be accessible both to well-funded organizations as well as groups with no budget. I also accept barter/trade.
