This patient had been to the clinic four times previously and described the average wait as 20-25 minutes. They would return to the clinic and felt that they received high quality, friendly and thorough care from the medical staff. The patient did not report having been informed about alternative treatment options by the staff.

Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are sometimes taken on the same day, and are triaged according to urgency. The waiting list for an initial appointment was 1-1.5 months at the time of this survey, but urgent cases may be seen soon. The average appointment time "depends" - (15 minutes- 1 hr). Doctors and nurses are available for consultation 24 hours/day by telephone.
Patients Seen
No one is turned away for any reason. This clinic not only works with formerly incarcerated people but does healthcare and referrals via a Department of Health Prison Re-Entry project.
Payment
General Medicine: Sliding Scale ($40-200) determined by income (as indicated by pay stub and/or letter of support from family member).
OB/GYN, pregnancy testing and HIV testing: Free
Accepts approximately 90% of insurance plans and Medicaid.
